Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PCN Labs OÜ, operating as Httpeace ("we", "our", or "us"), governing your access to and use of the Httpeace domain monitoring platform and related services (collectively, the "Service").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and your acceptance of these Terms will be treated as acceptance by that organization.
2. Description of Service
Httpeace is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that provides domain monitoring and security auditing tools. Our Service allows you to:
- Add and verify ownership of domains
- Run automated security and configuration checks on your domains
- Monitor SSL certificates, DNS records, email configuration, security headers, and blacklist status
- Receive alerts when critical issues are detected
- Generate reports and track historical domain health data
- Collaborate with team members within workspaces
- Integrate with third-party services (Slack, webhooks)
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
4. Account Registration and Security
4.1 Account Creation
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing:
- A valid email address
- Optionally, your name and profile picture
You may authenticate using:
- Magic link (email-based passwordless authentication)
- OAuth providers (Google)
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
4.3 Account Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
5. Workspaces and Team Management
5.1 Workspace Ownership
When you create a workspace, you become the workspace owner with full administrative rights. Each user may own only one workspace.
5.2 Team Members
Workspace owners may invite team members with the following roles:
- Owner: Full administrative control (only one owner per workspace)
- Admin: Can manage workspace settings, domains, and team members
- Member: Can view and manage domains but cannot modify workspace settings
5.3 Workspace Transfer
Workspace ownership may be transferred to another team member. The transfer is permanent and cannot be undone without the new owner's cooperation.
5.4 Workspace Deletion
Only workspace owners can delete a workspace. Deletion is permanent and results in:
- Removal of all domains, reports, and historical data
- Cancellation of any active subscriptions
- Removal of all team members from the workspace
6. Domain Verification and Monitoring
6.1 Domain Ownership Verification
You must verify ownership of domains before monitoring them. Verification is done by adding a DNS TXT record to your domain.
6.2 Authorized Use Only
You may only add and monitor domains that you own or have explicit permission to monitor. Monitoring domains without proper authorization may result in immediate account termination.
6.3 Domain Limits
Domain limits are determined by your subscription plan:
- Free plan: 1 domain per workspace
- Starter plan: 3 domains per workspace
- Pro plan: 10 domains per workspace
- Enterprise plan: 50 domains per workspace
6.4 Monitoring Frequency
Automated checks run according to your plan:
- Free plan: Manual checks only
- Paid plans: Automated daily checks
6.5 Data Accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate monitoring data, but we do not guarantee:
- The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of monitoring results
- Detection of all potential security issues or misconfigurations
- Prevention of service disruptions or security incidents
Domain monitoring results are provided "as is" for informational purposes only.
7. Subscriptions and Billing
7.1 Subscription Plans
We offer the following subscription tiers:
- Free: Limited features for evaluation
- Starter: $9/month or $90/year
- Pro: $19/month or $190/year
- Enterprise: $99/month or $990/year
Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
7.2 Payment Processing
All payments are processed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By providing payment information, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
7.3 Billing Cycles
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis:
- Monthly subscriptions: Charged on the same day each month
- Annual subscriptions: Charged on the same day each year
7.4 Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period. You will be charged at the then-current rate unless you have a locked-in promotional rate.
7.5 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the end of the paid period.
7.6 Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. If you are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase.
After the 14-day period:
- Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable
- Annual subscriptions may receive a pro-rated refund at our discretion
To request a refund, contact us at legal@httpeace.com with your workspace name and reason for the refund request.
7.7 Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- We will attempt to charge your payment method up to 3 times over 10 days
- You will receive email notifications about failed payments
- If payment is not resolved, your subscription will be canceled and your workspace will be downgraded to the free plan
7.8 Downgrades
If you downgrade your subscription or your subscription is canceled:
- Your workspace will be limited to the features of your new plan
- If you exceed domain limits, you must remove domains to continue using the Service
- Historical data and reports will be retained but may not be accessible on lower-tier plans
8. Acceptable Use
8.1 Permitted Use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree to use the Service in a manner consistent with applicable laws and regulations.
8.2 Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Monitor domains you do not own or have permission to monitor
- Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to the Service
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Remove, obscure, or alter any legal notices or branding
- Use the Service to transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
- Violate any intellectual property rights
- Use the Service for any illegal or fraudulent purpose
- Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission
- Share your account with others or create accounts using false information
8.3 API Usage
If you use our API (when available):
- You must comply with API rate limits and usage guidelines
- You must not use the API in a way that impacts Service availability for other users
- We may revoke API access at any time for violations of these Terms
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Our Property
The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, source code, and design, is owned by PCN Labs OÜ and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without our prior written permission.
9.2 Your Content
You retain all rights to the domains, data, and content you add to the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to:
- Store, process, and display Your Content to provide the Service
- Generate reports and monitoring data based on Your Content
- Backup Your Content for disaster recovery purposes
This license terminates when you delete Your Content or close your account, except for:
- Content that has been shared with team members in your workspace
- Aggregated, anonymized data used for analytics and service improvement
9.3 User Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate such feedback without any obligation to you.
10. Data Ownership and Privacy
10.1 Data Ownership
You own all data you input into the Service, including:
- Domain names and verification records
- Workspace and team member information
- Alert preferences and integration settings
10.2 Data Processing
We process Your Content solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your data.
10.3 Data Deletion
Upon account deletion, we will:
- Delete your personal information within 90 days
- Delete all workspace data, domains, and reports within 90 days
- Retain billing records as required by law (7 years)
You may export your data before deletion through the Service.
11. Third-Party Services
11.1 Integrations
The Service may integrate with third-party services such as:
- Slack: For alert notifications
- Webhooks: For custom integrations
Your use of these integrations is subject to the third party's terms of service and privacy policy.
11.2 External Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites.
12. Service Availability and Support
12.1 Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance
- Technical difficulties
- Factors beyond our reasonable control
We will provide advance notice of scheduled maintenance when possible.
12.2 Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
12.3 Support
Support is provided based on your subscription plan:
- Free plan: Community support only (documentation, guides)
- Paid plans: Email support with response within 48 business hours
- Enterprise plan: Priority support with response within 24 business hours
Support does not include:
- Custom development or integrations
- Troubleshooting of third-party services
- Domain configuration assistance (beyond verification)
13. Warranties and Disclaimers
13.1 Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
- ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR AVAILABILITY OF THE SERVICE
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will meet your requirements
- The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- Monitoring results will be accurate, complete, or reliable
- Any defects in the Service will be corrected
- The Service will detect all security issues or prevent disruptions
13.2 Third-Party Data
Monitoring data is gathered from public sources and third-party services. We do not guarantee the accuracy of data provided by external sources.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PCN LABS OÜ, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, Incidental, Special, Consequential, or Punitive Damages: Including lost profits, data loss, service interruption, or loss of goodwill
- Damages Arising From: Use or inability to use the Service, unauthorized access to your data, service errors or omissions, or reliance on monitoring results
- Third-Party Claims: Arising from your use of the Service
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR €100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PCN Labs OÜ and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Your use of the Service
- Your monitoring of domains without proper authorization
- Your Content or any content you submit through the Service
16. Termination
16.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by:
- Deleting your account through your profile settings
- Contacting us at legal@httpeace.com
16.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- Non-payment of subscription fees
- Inactivity for an extended period
- At our sole discretion
16.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to access the Service immediately ceases
- All subscriptions will be canceled (no refunds except as provided in Section 7.6)
- Your data will be deleted according to our data retention policy
- You remain liable for any outstanding fees or charges
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will survive termination.
17. Dispute Resolution
17.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Estonia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
17.2 Jurisdiction
You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Tallinn, Estonia for the resolution of any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service.
17.3 Informal Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at legal@httpeace.com. We will try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting you via email.
If a dispute is not resolved within 30 days of submission, either party may pursue formal dispute resolution.
17.4 Arbitration (Optional)
By mutual agreement, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
17.5 Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis and waive your right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration.
18. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- Sending an email notification to your registered email address
- Displaying a prominent notice on the Service
Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service and may terminate your account.
19. General Provisions
19.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PCN Labs OÜ regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
19.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
19.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
19.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms without restriction.
19.5 Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, natural disasters, labor disputes, or internet/telecommunications failures.
19.6 No Agency
These Terms do not create any agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and PCN Labs OÜ.
19.7 Language
These Terms are written in English. Any translations are provided for convenience only. In case of conflict, the English version prevails.
