Monitor your first domain
Learn how to add and verify your first domain, then run your first comprehensive health check.
Adding a domain
Step 1: Navigate to domains
- In the dashboard, go to Domains
- Click the Add domain button
Step 2: Enter domain details and verify your domain
In the Add Domain dialog:
- Enter your domain name (e.g.,
example.comorsubdomain.example.com) - Add the TXT record to your domain's DNS settings in your registrar's dashboard:
- Name:
_httpeace-verification - Value:
[your-verification-code] - Leave any other settings in their default values
- Name:
- Wait up to a few minutes for DNS propagation
- Confirm the verification.
If you skip verification, your domain will be added with a Pending status. To prevent abuse, Httpeace doesn't allow running checks on domains until ownership is verified.
